Wyoming first time home buyer grants and loan programs - The Wyoming Community Development Authority (WCDA) offers programs for first time home buyers.
The WCDA is able to offer programs to assist first time home buyers with a portion of the downpayment and closing costs. This program places a second home loan/mortgage on the property of up to $13,000 (interest rates vary) and the term on the loan may be from 1 month to 96 months. The minimum cash investment for this program of at least $750 of the home buyer's own funds.
The WCDA Home Buyer Assistance Program includes home loans/mortgages from participating lenders in the form of 30 year deferred loans to qualified WCDA home buyers. Eligible homebuyers may receive up to $2,000 for a downpayment and closing costs after contributing a minimum of $500 of the home buyer's own funds toward the cash requirements at closing. If the borrower lives in the property for 30 years, the loan is forgiven.
