Missouri first time home buyer grants and loan programs - The Missouri Housing Development Commission (MHDC) offers programs for qualified home buyers.

The MHDC offers special loan programs which include below market home loans/mortgages and downpayment assistance for qualified buyers (buyers must have a a household gross income less than $57,000). The downpayment grants offered include 6% grants for qualified buyers to use toward a downpayment or closing costs.

The MHDC also offers home repair grants up to $20,000 for owner-occupied homes in many Missouri communities. The eligible repairs include updates such as lead removal/reduction and weatherization/winterproofing.
