Idaho first time home buyer grants and loan programs - The Idaho Finance & Housing Association (IHFA) offers a first time home buyer education program called Finally Home!®.

The Finally Home!®, created by IHFA and several organizations statewide, has designed the education program to help address many issues that potential home owners face. The program covers all the steps involved purchasinga home, from qualifying for a home loan/mortgage and choosing a Realtor, to making an offer and closing costs.

Potential home buyers that successfully complete the Finally Home!® education program may be eligible for the following incentives including - downpayment and closing cost assistance, home loan/mortgage programs that accept higher debt to income ratios and using "gift funds" at closing. The education programs are available for a small out of pocket cost.
