Connecticut first time home buyer grants and loan programs - The Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) offers programs to first time home buyers.

CHFA offers 30 year, fixed rate low interest home loan/mortgage programs that are offered to low to moderate income buyers. The price of the home purchased can only be up to a certain dollar amount. The programs offered can be used for eligible one to four family homes and some condominiums. The programs also limit the home purchase to certain "targeted" areas in CT.
